Second Meeting of the Carbon Market Policy Dialogue – Session 2 "use of offsets" @ Online - Zoom

The second meeting of the Carbon Market Policy Dialogue (CMPD) of the LIFE DICET project brings together academia, stakeholders and senior policy makers from different carbon markets worldwide, in a unique process for a fruitful exchange on carbon market integration. 

The meeting is split into two online sessions to cover different topics and to allow participation from different geographical areas (East Asia and Pacific, Europe, North America…):

    • Wednesday 9 June 2021 from 09:30 AM to 12.00 PM CEST to discuss “Carbon leakage prevention: free allocation and other measures” (Topic 3). The background report: “ETSs with different measures for carbon leakage prevention: implications for linking” will be shared ahead of the meeting.
    • Friday 9 July 2021 from 4.30 PM to 7.00 PM CEST to discuss “Environmental integrity: use of offsets” (Topic 4). The background report: “ETSs with different offsets provisions: implications for linking” will also be shared ahead of the meeting.
