Carbon markets for increasing international ambition @ Climate Exp0

Under the title Carbon markets for increased international climate ambition, the panel will focus on the role of carbon markets amidst increasing international ambition: interdependence, arbitrage, and integration.

Simone Borghesi, Director of FSR Climate, will moderate this session with the following speakers:

  • Stefano Verde (Deputy Director and Research Fellow, FSR Climate – EUI)

  • Emily Wimberger (Climate Economist, Rhodium Group)

This event will occur at the policy-oriented academic conference Climate Exp0, which will showcase the latest thinking and most relevant international research in the run-up to COP26. It is organised by the British COP26 Universities Network and an Italian University Network for Sustainable Development (RUS). The conference also benefits from the support of UK Research and Innovation, the COP26 Presidency, #All4Climate-Italy2021 and Cambridge Press University.
